It was announced recently by the Summerfestival, that the Spice Girls Melanie C, will perform with her own band during the festival, which will be held in Klaksvík in August.

Specsavers video

A crew of several people came to the Faroe Islands in the fall of 2007 and recorded, what is now know as the Specsavers Sheep Dog Shearing advert.

An elderly farmer and his sheep dog guide the sheep to the farmer, where the farmer starts shearing the sheep, however with his bad eyesight the sheep are not neatly shore, and neither is the farmers poor dog.
